To create a new template, click Create New from the Manage Templates page.

The New Template page displays:


  1. In the Name field, enter a name for the new template.
  2. In the Description field, enter a short description explaining the template.

  3. In the External ID field, enter an ID to assign to your Web Portal template.

  4. Select Self-Paced Access capability, if required.
  5. To ensure the template is available for use immediately, check the Active status option. If you want to delay the availability of the template leave this box unchecked.


  1. Lab Provider default is Hatsize.
  2. Select the Lab Configuration button.
    The 'Select a Lab Configuration' dialog will appear.
    Select the name of the Lab Configuration you wish to associate with this Template.  And click the 'Select' button.
  3. Click the Create Template button.
    From here you will proceed to the Edit Access page.

To create a classroom only template, disable the Lab component.
